LYME DISEASE

Many infrared sauna companies make several claims in treating Lyme Disease.  Are they right?  Yes and no.  Where they are right is detoxing, but not all infrared sauna brands get deep enough in your fat and muscle tissues to rid your body of all the toxins.  It's very important you chose the right infrared sauna and most importantly the right infrared heater.

Those treating their Lyme Disease know that toxins released from dead spirochetes flood their bodies once they (the spirochetes) are killed.  Though this experience is a great indication of an effective treatment protocol, the process itself occurs many times throughout treatment.  As a result, toxins build up in the body, and the process of removing them becomes too much for passive or non-aggressive detox methods.  Infrared saunas compensate or pick up the slack by helping to bring the over all toxin load down in an efficient manner but you have to use the right one.

So what's the best sauna for Lyme?  To treat Lyme you need an infrared sauna that has heaters capable of penetrating past the fat layer.   Many infrared heaters make this claim but their research is vague or non-existent.  In fact it's very difficult to conduct a scientific test on how deep a particular infrared heater actually penetrates.

The Infrared Sauna Foundation relies on consumer survey results to review infrared heaters.  This information helps us relay data from what real folks have experienced and what they recommend.  Treating Lyme is extremely difficult and if you are going to invest the money into an infrared sauna it needs to be the right one.
